Rightful over the bridge, Blueprint Cafe is quietly looking forward to its back year arriving in February. With little fanfare, the small lunch particle has garnered a loyal following in Barrio Logan. Housed a cool, modern architect-owned building, located on a unobtrusive, open intersection right between the bridge and downtown. Chef/Proprietress Gayle Covner, is a veteran of great restaurants in New York Conurbation and San Diego. A Big Apple native, her inspiration is drawn from the sense-delighting synergy of cultures she veteran in her hometown as well as travels near and far. Her expertise has been gained from both formal tutelage and years of experience. Building upon a hotel/restaurant degree, she extended her involvement in 1989, to create “In Good Taste,” a thriving SD catering vocation.
