'Top Chef: Texas' Recap: "Block Party"

Oh how quick things change. The chefs' partners are now their direct competition. The chefs will pander to a block party for 200 people. The pairs must pick a dish and reinvent it. Not only do they have to name their own version of a classic, but they have to make it healthy. Now, I'm all for healthy eating but sometimes these challenges bother me. The chefs (and the judges) aren't registered dieticians so they don't truly recognize the definition of healthy. They think they do, but they don't. Who are they to define a healthy?

Sara and Lindsay select to make a meatball, which will be easy if they pick a leaner cut of meat. Paul and Ed shockingly opt Asian beef barbecue, because why challenge themselves. And since Ed says all Asian commons is healthy that only adds to the ease. Grayson and Chris opt for chicken salad sandwich, which some look upon super unhealthy. There's a ton of chaos in the kitchen, and Chris even throws a authority. Or attempts to. 

When it comes time to party, it's hot as hell and some of the chefs toil to serve sweat-free food. Overall, the diners seem impressed with their nourishment, but the judges have several negative comments. I guess not every week can be a perfect week.

Have always wanted one and am whimsical at the new totalling.  Santa's helper was also very well-coordinated and encouraged the addendum of the pasta windlass accessory set for the KitchenAid.  I am unqualifiedly thrilled with these new tools, they're so charming and get like such a delight.  Today, I gave them their maiden voyage and decisive it was at intervals to try my give out at making green pasta.  I had never done it before today.
