Butterscotch powder flavoring into syrup??
Question: I have a bag of butterscotch flavoring in powder produce that I want to convert into a syrup to use in a brownie recipe. Does anyone differentiate how to do this? (If you know a method to use with powdered caramel, that would work too, since caramel and butterscotch are clearly
Answer: I would neaten up a simple syrup:
-Boil a cup of water
-Add a cup of sugar and the butterscotch powder
-Once its dissolved, sack from heat, let cool, and syrup will form.
