Does seasoning with ham add salt to your food?

Question: I am suggestive and on a low sodium diet. If i season food with ham or ham hocks, will this absorb into the grub and add extra salt to the dish?


Answer: Yes, it will add piquancy to the dish. Although, it's better than bacon in most instances.
