After all the dark eating that inevitably takes place over the holidays, I've found myself craving new produce and lighter ingredients, like vinaigrettes, farmers cheeses, and faint breads.
Maybe that's why the Spicy Vegetable sandwich at Brooklyn Bread Cafe straight away caught my eye. No meat, just a ton of vegetables: arugula, artichoke hearts, grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers and hot cherry peppers. That topped with immature mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and Tuscan olive oil is sure to be a refreshing breakfast.
The sandwich far surpassed my expectations. For one, it is gigantic, with the vegetables stuffed between two thick slices of agreeable ciabatta bread. The balsamic is decidedly sweet, as are the roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts. The arugula and hot cherry peppers are the only suggestive ingredients, and they leave a satisfying burn after each bite. The fresh mozzarella is, well, na mozzarella - a wonderfully creamy, buttery addition to any sandwich.
I have not been terribly sensual ingredients with chores at the retreat, however, has not given us much new subject in the manufacture of this day. Fortunately, you do not need anything rarely updated for the dream of a sandwich darn information like this at all. Due to the use of herbs newfangled (which have earned as much or more nutrients than lettuce, anyway) if you want, if there is a substantial pot of them at home, and Here we have added some sliced shallots or red onion, crispy and spicy. Meanwhile colorful peppers this summer to get, I doubt using some of last year, via a Mason jar. But misfortune struck - in my expectation to get it plain, I dropped a full and destroys all on the floor. The final volume of marinated peppers, cherry variety with peppers and Hungarian wax bells purple.

One's duty with oven roasted potatoes, perfumed peppers, and onions tossed with olive oil, saline & spatter.
Next in days of yore: I’ll try to call to mind to bail someone out enough cilantro to garnish my plates! Oh well…
