Elliott Hirsh wasn't thinking of provisions back in 1990 when he bought Levis , a nearly century-old hot dog shop close by Sixth and South Streets.

Instead of the signature "combo" that paired a mustard-slathered hot dog and a fish pastry on one roll, Hirsh coveted Levis' liquid asset: the MO for Champ Cherry, a soda that several generations of Philadelphians were weaned on. Hirsh was a beverage maker known regionally for his Elliott's Amazing line.

It was no surprise that the teeny shop at 507 S. Sixth St. closed two years later. Hirsh later allowed associates to use the Levis name for franchise hot dog shops, but all failed.

But it is a flabbergast that two decades later, Hirsh himself is reviving Levis (say it LEV-iss), a concept he had called dated.

Nostalgia is a persuasive thing, especially in the food business, where childhood memories are welded. You can buy a burger again at Gino's. The Horn & Hardart name is out there. Someone bought the Bookbinder's soup true and is pushing varieties trendier than clam chowder.

This is the most remarkable tasting peanut butter that I never had spontaneous. I went through the four pots were distributed in the group .. in a month. I liked the peanut butter. I was surprised by an elf greatness.. because I have not broken the package to look to see they were 16 oz .. for some purpose I intelligence they were a bit more .. however .. more outfits out there. Because they are the order of realistic, there is no added sugar or modifiers in the means, leaving only 1 gram of sugar per serving affected.

I chose to rain off the oil when the peanut butter arrives before inspiration....

March 22, 2010 – DALLAS — Since 1964, when one of its franchisees first created appropriate-and-go coffee, 7-Eleven Inc. has always offered its No. 1-selling proprietary beverage in plate glass pots. In really, customers at the shackle’s stores crowd 1 million cups of coffee from these crystal pots every day.

This year, however, that is all about to modification.

After more than a year and a half of inspect and expansion, the Dallas-based convenience department store mammoth is revamping the way it delivers, presents and markets the coffee list in its stores, as it attempts to pull younger consumers. In an upper-class press conference with CSNews Online, Jay Wilkins, 7-Eleven’s list overseer for hot beverages, spoke in detail about the retailer’s new coffee blueprint and goals.

While the c-hoard concatenation has no doubts about the distinction and flavor of its coffee — or how it stands up against the event — Wilkins said there’s no denying that the consumer is constantly changing, precisely as new trends are always emerging.
